Anne Archie

Anne Archie and her husband, Merle, live and bird in Harrington. They both retired from the US Forest Service where Anne spent 33 years as a Wildlife Biologist, District Ranger and Forest Supervisor in National Forests in Oregon, southeast Alaska, Wisconsin, Idaho and New Hampshire.

Anne’s interest in birds started in childhood and she carried that fascination into an MS in Natural Science with a Wildlife Ecology Emphasis. Anne and Merle have birded many places in North America, Central and South America, the Caribbean, Australia and Asia, but they find Washington County the best place to explore, hike and live.
