The CCLC Salmon Cam These are Atlantic Salmon eggs from the Dennys River, grown at the Craig Brook Hatchery in East Orland. When they hatch and have grown to just about an inch, they will be released into the Dennys River sometime in May. They will be incubated at 35 degrees Fahrenheit until early April when we will begin to increase the temperature by two degrees every few days. This gradual warming will increase the growth rate of the young salmon. Check back often to see if any eggs have hatched, announcements of educational programming around the endangered Atlantic Salmon, and the release date... Visit Craig Brook National Fish Hatchery's website for more info. |
