Join us on Saturday, November 3 at 7 pm for a screening of "The Triplets of Bellville". In this innovative animated tale, a lonely boy, Champion, is adopted by his grandmother. Seeing how much he loves riding his bicycle, his grandmother trains him to compete. Years later, he enters the Tour de France, only to be kidnapped during the race. His grandmother sets out to save him, and meets three odd women, the Triplets of Belleville, along the way.
Films are free and open to the public, and donations are always appreciated. Snacks will be on sale before the film. All films are shown as part of the CCLC's educational programming, which is designed to provide opportunities to explore and better understand our world. All are invited to stay afterwards for a conversation on topics brought up by the film. A committee of folks gather every few months to pick out topics and films. If you are interested in joining this committee, please contact Michelle at 733-2233.
