The Cobscook Community Learning Center invites the public to its next film / discussion program on Saturday, September 8 at 7:00 pm. For this month’s screening the CCLC will show “Breakdown.” All are invited to join in a discussion after the film. Breakdown (http://breakdownfilm.tv) is an independent documentary that examines America's foreign policy in the Middle East - from the 9/11, through the war on terror, to the occupation of Iraq and invasion of Afghanistan. Telling its story in six parts, Breakdown attempts to ask the question ''Is US Foreign Policy completely out of control?'' while addressing the key issues, and motivations, behind the wars that have been visited upon the Middle East. There is no charge for this event, and anyone able to give a $3 donation at the door is invited to do so. Refreshments will also be on sale.
