The Cobscook Community Learning Center invites the public to its next film / discussion program on Saturday, July 7th at 7:00 pm. For this month’s screening the CCLC will show “Cirque du Soleil.” All are invited to join in a discussion after the film. Cirque du Soleil, or Circus of the Sun, is a modern-day circus troop from Quebec City, Canada. Each performance emphasizes humans as performers and features original music and flamboyant costumes. With amazing acrobatics, trapeze stunts, theatrical elements and more, Cirque du Soleil is known for outstanding original music and flamboyant costumes. There is no charge for this event, and anyone able to give a $3 donation at the door is invited to do so. Refreshments will also be on sale. The program will take place at the CCLC, located at 10 Commissary Point Road in Trescott.
