How Can You Use GIS Mapping in Your Community?

The University of Maine Cooperative Extension's 4-H program will be
offering a workshop on Wednesday May 23rd from 2:00pm - 7:00pm at the
Cobscook Community Learning Center. Teens and adults are invited to
attend this free, interactive training session using ArcView GIS
software which will include: how to download data, create base maps,
import the data, map enhancement, and community project ideas. No
prior experience necessary, but space is limited so pre-registration is
required by Friday, May 18. For more information or to reserve your
space, please call CCLC at 733-2233.
