The Cobscook Community Learning Center (CCLC) has recently formalized a partnership with Mercy College to offer Mercy’s full slate of online degree programs at a 30% discounted rate through the CCLC. Details of this partnership, as well as information about Mercy College and its online degree programs, will be discussed at an informational meeting on October 19 from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at the CCLC, 10 Commissary Point Road, in Trescott. All are welcome, and people are encouraged to RSVP for this event by calling Kara at 733-2233.
Mercy College is a pioneer in online learning, and has offered educational opportunities online since 1990. Currently, Mercy offers twenty five online degree programs and more than 200 courses online each semester. Available degrees include associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in business, computer science, criminal justice, nursing, English, mathematics, psychology, and organizational leadership, among others. Mercy College’s mission, to make available the transformational power of a college education to people who would not otherwise have the opportunity, aligns with the CCLC’s vision of a community education center which offers a diverse array of learning opportunities for people in Washington County and beyond.
