Despite the cold damp weather yesterday, there was a great turnout and a lot of work was done. When I left at around 4pm, the first floor had been raised and the rafters were in place. They were starting on the second floor when I left, but were having a bit of trouble with a large beam that didn't want to fit. I took a lot of pictures and have posted most of them in the photo album here: The progress has been so fast the past couple days, I haven't had much time to edit or sort the pictures, I will be doing that as time permits. I would also like to add captions to most of the pictures and welcome suggestions for them. You can make suggestions for captions or just make a comment on the picture by clicking the "add comment" link at the bottom of each picture. This link is visible when you're viewing the picture full size, not in the thumbnail view.
Today is much sunnier, if not much warmer. I'm on my way to get some more pictures. Check back often for updates.
Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this wonderful project. It's very exciting to finally see it taking shape.
Best, Kevin
