[Previous entry: "PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE"] [Main Index] [Next entry: "Timber Frame Raising"]

Work at the site is going well and we will be ready for tomorrow's raising. Since it is raining this morning work will be taking place at Tim and Lydia's. We will return to the site in the afternoon if it seems it will stop raining.

We could use help at the mill. Lots of chisel work to do there. Here are directions.

From Whiting Corner.
Travel South on Rt 1 about 7 miles. You are looking for the Gardner Lake Road on the Right.
Look for the Petite Retreat sign on the Left. Gardner Lake Road is the next road on the Right after that sign.
Tim and Lydia's is 5 miles in from Rt 1.
Travel 3 miles in until the road splits. Take the dirt road on the R fork (straight really) (also, note the sign that says, Beals)
Go 1 mile to the next split by the red camp in the middle of the blueberry fields. Note the signs to Moon Hill and also Timber Frame. Go Right.
Travel about one more mile up that road (it is all dirt roads since the first fork) to the second Left which takes you up to Tim and Lydia's. See you there!

Stop by the construction site to see if we are there first!

Thanks. Tomorrow is a big day. We need lots of strong backs and willing hands.

Alan
