With rousing hand of applause and appreciation to Marcia Spencer-Famous, and for the enormous work that Core Group members put into the effort, I am very happy to announce that the rezoning of the CCLC land and with it, the building permits, passed with unanimous approval at the LURC Commission meeting yesterday. Marcia was impecably well prepared complete with a powerpoint presentation outlining the proposal and our work.

I have a meeting scheduled with Derrin Dyer, Construction Specialist for Rural Development for Monday morning to lay out the specs for the foundation, septic system, plumbing and well. With luck and hard work we will have the invitations for bid out in the mail next week. I will be contacting CCLC members to convein the group that will be deciding on which contractors to invite to submit bids.
