- Description: Healthy. Good. Easy. Economical. Join with Tim Roy to make a meal that is all of this and more. Tim is offering these classes as monthly events, with a new menu each month. For March, Navajo stew with flatbread and a baby green salad with homemade dressing are on the menu. Tim is a retired software engineer and a survivor of prostate cancer. He switched to a vegan diet to help prevent the reoccurrence of cancer, and wants to share what he has learned about cooking and health with others.

- Exploring Artisan Bread
- Instructor: Tim Roy

- Description: This class will be a day of learning how to make several artisan breads. According to instructor Tim Roy, bread is both a basic need and an art form. Good homemade bread enriches the lives of those who both make and enjoy this staple food. From basic ingredients and steps through learning how time and temperatures affect different breads, participants are sure to go away with new skills to add to their bread making repertoire.

- Grow Your Own Organic Garden
- Instructor: Carly DelSignore and Carol Bryant
- When: Thursday, April 1st ~
6 pm - 9 pm
- Registration Deadline: Registration is not necessary, but is very much appreciated. Please choose the "Mail or bring payment" option.
- Description: Join with Carly DelSignore of Tide Mill Organic Farm and Carol Bryan of Scythe Supply for a session to get you started with your organic garden for this coming growing season. This course provides an overview of the basics of soil science and how to enrich soil to produce healthy, high-yielding plants. The course will also cover the basics of making and using compost, the principles of crop rotation, weed and pest identification, and fertility management. This session is sponsored by the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA). A $5 fee goes directly to MOFGA to cover materials.

- Boating Safety
- Instructor: Members of Eastport's U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary
- When: Thursdays, May 5 - 26 ~ 6:30 - 8 pm
- Registration Deadline: One week prior to start date.
- Description: Please join us this May at the CCLC for a boating safety course offered by members of Eastport's U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. Participation in a boating education course will teach participants how to properly operate and maintain a boat. Laws, responsibilities and personal safety will also be covered. Upon successful completion of a final exam, along with attendance at every session, participants will receive a boating safety certificate.
- Cost: The fee for this course, which goes directly to the USCG auxiliary) is $30 and includes all materials.

- Women's Herbs
- Instructor: Amy Zipperer
- When: Saturday, March 20 from 10 am – noon
- Registration Deadline: One week prior to start date.
- Description: All women are invited to join with Amy Zipperer to learn about which herbs in the plant world have a particular affinity for women. Discuss and make a variety of tinctures, teas, balms, oils and infusions that are helpful for situations unique to women. This is a hands-on class where participants will taste, smell and make medicine with various herbs that are especially helpful to women of varying ages. Everyone will go home with a medicine that they have prepared.
