  • Dance Aerobics
    • Instructor: Connie Harter-Bagley
    • When: Friday Evenings, 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.   February 1, 8, 15 and March 7, 14, 21.
    • Cost:$6 - $60.  Please click here for more information on the CCLC’s new sliding scale format for course fees. Shake Your Soul Dance
    • Materials: None
    • Registration Deadline: One week prior to start date.
    • Description:Connie Harter-Bagley, certified Shake Your Soul, Kripalu Danskinetics instructor, will offer a six session class this winter at the CCLC.  According to Connie, “This is one of the most popular daily classes at the Kripalu Yoga Center for Health.”   All those interested in dancing their way to a fitter body are invited to participate in these sessions.  Each session will lead participants through a variety of body movements designed to move every cell in the body through heart-healthy soulful and energizing dance.  All body types welcome; each participant will go at his or her own pace.   • Core Crunch
    • Instructor: Brenda Foley
    • When: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5 pm – 6 pm Starting October 16
    • Cost: $56 for one month (8 sessions) sessions or $8 per session; drop-ins welcome
    • Materials: Please bring dumbbells, a stability ball and floor mat.  Some equipment is available at the CCLC to use during classes, please call for availability.
    • Registration Deadline: One week prior to start date.
    • Description: Join with Brenda Foley in this ongoing session to strengthen the core of your body.  Work your back and abs in a comprehensive, total core workout.  According to Brenda, if your core is strong, your whole body is strong.  This class is great for all people.  Brenda will work with you to start where you are to achieve your fitness and strength goals.

  • Kids (and Parents!) Yoga
    • Instructor: Connie Harter-Bagley
    • When: Tuesday afternoons, 4 pm – 5 pm. February  5 – March 25
    • Cost: $8 - $80.  .  Please click here for more information about the CCLC’s new sliding scale for course fees.
    • Materials: Please bring a yoga or exercise mat or blanket.  Some are available at the CCLC to borrow.  Please check with the staff about availability before the start of class.
    • Registration Deadline: One week prior to start date.
    • Description: All kids (and parents) are invited to participate in an eight week after school yoga session at the CCLC.  This class will be led by Connie Harter-Bagley, who is a certified Kids Yoga-Ed Instructor and Kripalu Yoga teacher, owner of River Meets the Sea Yoga and Dance Studio and Retreat Center, and mother of two.  This class, which Harter-Bagley describes as fun and energizing, focuses on learning yoga poses for strength and stretching, yoga breathing to relax or energize, yoga games for community connection, and “Time-In” for quiet reflection.

  • Nourishing Traditions Today
    • Instructor: Carly DelSignore
    • When: Beginning January 27th and continuing every Sunday through March 2nd from 12:30-3:00 
    • Cost: There is no charge for this gathering, but we will “pass the hat” to all those attending to contribute to the costs of the video, projector, electricity and facility expenses.
    • Description: I know that diets and eating preferences can be a touchy subject. I believe that everyone can incorporate some of the philosophies and practices that this diet encourages to make changes in their diet that promote healthier lifestyle. I am most excited to sit in the circle with each of you who recognizes that our food choices is a priority in our lives and are striving for a sustainable way of feeding ourselves.

      Calling all people who believe that what we eat and feed our families makes a huge difference in how well we feel, how healthy we are, and the health of our environment… 

      Calling all people who may be confused about why they are not feeling better despite all the medications they are taking for their illnesses…

      Calling all people who wonder if there is an alternative to the unhealthy processed food that is available at the grocery stores.
