• Beginning Pottery

  • When: Thursday evenings 5:30-7:30 ~ September, 18 through November, 6
  • Registration Deadline: One week prior to start date.
  • Description: People of all ages are invited to join in this next, ever-popular beginning pottery class with CCLC resident potter, Kevin Thompson.  In this ultimate hands-on class, participants will learn basic hand building techniques including pinch, coil, and slab methods. After a tour through the basics, folks will be free to explore individual projects with instructor guidance. Each participant will start the course with a lump of clay and finish with unique pieces of art. While the focus will be mainly on hand building techniques, the potter's wheel will be available for those who want to give it a try.
