- Description: Tim Christensen, accomplished and inspired potter will lead this class of hand-building and throwing techniques. He will introduce combinations of limitless elements allowing you to create unique pieces. This session will address attaching foot-rings, rims, spouts, handles, decorations, and lids. This class is suited for both beginners and experienced students.

- Art Studio, Drawing & Painting
- Instructor: Kathryn Robertson
- When: Eight Saturdays, 11:00am - 2:00 pm - Jan 21 - Mar 10, 2012
- Registration Deadline: One week prior to start date.
- Description: This series of classes will cover drawing from still life, photographs, models and mirrors. Students will use charcoal & graphite, practice siting and proportion, composition, light/shadow & textures. The class will include drawing from the figure - gestures, proportion, foreshortening, line & cross-hatching. The class may include wash-drawing and/or painting.

- Poetry Workshop
- Instructors: Valerie Lawson and Michael Brown
- When: Four Saturdays, January 7, 14, 21 & 28 from 10:00 am-12:00 pm
- Registration Deadline: One week prior to start date.
- Description: In this workshop, for poets of all levels, the group will read poems from participants and offer thoughtful suggestions for making the work better. Michael Brown and Valerie Lawson, accomplished poets and poetry editors, will lead the class discussions and critiques using a process-centered approach.
